How Par Six handles your information
Last updated October 25, 2026. Par Six is in development and is not yet publicly available. This page describes how it works today. A full privacy policy will be published here before the app is released, and this page will change to match it.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics, ads or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site. We don't use that data to identify or track you.
The app, during development and testing
- Your rounds stay on your phone. Rounds, scores, player names you enter and the pins and routes you set are stored in an encrypted database on your device. They aren't uploaded.
- No accounts yet. The app doesn't ask for your name, email or date of birth.
- Course search. When you search for a course, the app sends your search to Par Six's server. The server looks up course and tee details from our course-data providers. If you tap "Near me", the app sends your location rounded to about 100 meters with that search. Par Six doesn't store or log it, and it isn't linked to who you are.
- Hole maps. Hole outlines come from OpenStreetMap through Par Six's server, which asks for the course, not for your location. Map imagery is provided by Google Maps under Google's privacy policy. Your GPS position is used on your phone to show yardages and isn't sent to Par Six.
- No analytics, no ads, no selling data.
- Deleting your data. You can delete a round or erase all Par Six data on your phone from the app's Profile tab, or by deleting the app.
Children
Par Six isn't directed to children under 13.
